Little Big City

Greensboro is moving up in the world, folks!  The food trucks have arrived and the downtown community couldn’t be more excited.

Each weekday and Friday nights, trucks will line up around the corner from my job and bring such delicacies as Shrimp Po-Boys, Mexican food and sweets to the professional and student community behind Elon School of Law.  Check out the October line-up here.

I tried Taste of Creole today and was delighted with the freshness and well-seasoned taste of their Shrimp Basket – $6. Please be aware that only half of these trucks take plastic, so have cash on hand.

Personally, I’m looking forward to Baguettaboutit returning as they serve vegan options.

I believe this is the beginning of a beautiful lunch-time routine.
